In this role, you will lead the asset and configuration management principles, strategy and ways of working. This includes management of the complete lifecycle of every CI — including interfaces to internal and external service providers where there are assets and configuration items that need to be controlled.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To ensure all IT service Assets (hardware and software) are managed and compliant with vendor agreements, and to ensure all configurations are properly maintained and accurate in the CMDB
• Ensure assets under IT organization are under control, well identified and properly maintained throughout their lifecycle
• Ensure a fully operational CMDB and that this can be trusted, and it is properly used and maintained
• Report monthly Asset Management compliance and risk management status to IT Leadership Team and MetsoOutotec IT colleagues
• Aligned with the WoW Manager to define the right processes to ensure the CMDB data is properly updated
• Set governance for asset management, building transparency, optimization and compliance for Metso:Outotec asset management. Ensuring right stakeholders are joining the governance meetings and these have proper agenda and outcomes
• Define, deploy, maintain and ensure, right usage of the asset management tool and alignment with tools and technologies manager
• Guide the team defining the right decisions in asset and configuration management, which should be aligned with Metso Outotec IT strategy and SMO best practices
• Participate in external audits and conduct internal audits
• Support efficient and effective service management processes by providing accurate configuration information to enable people to make decisions at the right time

• Experience in Software audits and Asset management for 3-4 years
• Knowledge of Common Service Data Model in ServiceNow or Configuration Management Database in ServiceNow
• ITIL certification and actively worked using ITIL in the last 3 years
